Dear Beloved Community,

It was a joy to attend the ordination of the Revd Caroline, the Revd Mike Buchanan and the Revd Mathew McCauley to the priesthood in Christ Church Cathedral yesterday. It’s always a service of great celebration.

As most of you will know, Caroline will serve as curate here in Kilternan. We are looking forward to having her among us; indeed, many of you may remember her from her time with us on placement as a student.

I’m hoping to introduce her at our services this Sunday, so make every effort to give her a big Kilternan welcome.  Remember her in your prayers as she settles in and adjusts to ministerial life.

  • 9:45am: Sunday Morning at the Gathering Grounds
  • 11:00am: Holy Communion (Note this is a 5th Sunday so we will celebrate Holy Communion at this Service)

Midweek Service

There is a service Holy Communion this Tuesday at 11:45am in the church. All welcome.

Lunchtime Concert Series

This Tuesday is the last of our Tuesday concerts. These are organised by the Gathering Grounds in partnership with DLR and the Arts Council. They are open to all so please do spread the word.

Play Café Gets OWT! (Outside With Toddlers) Cancelled on Wednesday

Please note that there will be not Play Café this Wednesday.

Bumps & Babes @ Kilternan

If you are expecting or have a baby from new-born to pre-walking, come alone or bring a friend to Bumps and Babes. Whether you are tired, in need of some caffeine or in need of a listening ear. As a new parent, or parent to be, you are invited to take some time for yourselves. Come join us and enjoy a cuppa in company in the Gathering Grounds from 10am on Wednesday. The informal friendly meet-up is a space where you can relax, chat and meet others in the community.
