Pop-Up Play Café Gets OWT! (Outdoors With Toddlers)

We are egg-cited to be able to have a Pop-Up (unscheduled!) session this week. All our sensory, messy and loose part play activities, story and singing will have an easter and spring feel to them. Older siblings are welcome to come along and join in with the fun with the little ones.  We will most likely remain inside until after the easter break. Family spaces will be available to book this afternoon through the website. For further information contact Lynn cfm@kilternaparish.ie 087 695 7061

Bumps & Babes

If you are a new parent, or parent to be, you are invited to come join us and enjoy a cuppa in company on the couches in the Gathering Grounds from 10am on Wednesday. The informal friendly meet-up is a space where you can relax, chat and meet others in the community.  So, if you’re expecting or have a baby from new-born to pre-walking, come alone or bring a friend. A warm welcome awaits you and there’s no need to book.

The Egg-citing Family Easter Story Trail Saturday 10am-12noon

Families are invited to come for a wander and wonder on Saturday for a trail and activities. Come join us at a time that suits you between 10am and 12noon. Families of all ages will have an opportunity to experience and enjoy one of our popular trails. The Egg-citing Easter Story Trail will be set up around the church grounds for families to come and enjoy. On arrival you will be given a Trail Card to use as you go and find all 10 eggs. Challenges and questions along the way will help family members of all ages creatively engage with the story of Easter. For the older children each egg will have a further clue to solve, and each answer will help unlock an easter message. Once you have completed the trail there will be some activities too and refreshments to enjoy. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. To ensure that we have enough supplies for everyone we ask that you book your family space via the website from Monday afternoon.

Bible Buddies & Easter Sticker Calendar- Families Journey Through Holy Week

Last Easter we launched our first Bible Buddies Reading with an adoption day. This year we have an exciting new resource for families to use alongside their Bible Buddies as they celebrate Easter. Children and families of all ages will enjoy exploring the Easter Story using a short storybook with fun and vibrant artwork, and a story scene with colourful stickers to add -one each day as they journey through Holy Week.  If you were unable to join us for worship yesterday, there is one for every family and can be collected from the Gathering Grounds during the week. If your child has yet to adopt a Bible Buddy, we still do have some looking for homes – just contact Lynn. cfm@kilternaparish.ie 087 695 7061
